Tobias Tremml is partner at the Munich office.

Tobias has extensive experience at various general counsel roles: 

Most recently, he worked as interim general counsel at a publicly listed, internationally operating e-commerce platform with revenues of some 200 million Euros.

Earlier, Tobias was general counsel and head of finance & HR at Desertec Industrial Initiative, a joint venture of blue chip corporations, such as Siemens, Deutsche Bank and Munich Re. Its mission was to develop an industrial scale market for renewable energies produced in North Africa and the Middle East.

Tobias started his career with a global leader in the development and implementation of ERM software systems for the publishing industry. He went on to become that company’s general counsel and a member of the global management team.

At Wendler Tremml, Tobias is advising a select number of mid-size companies in long term client relationships. He is working closely with the management of these companies covering the full range of operational and strategic decisions. He has experience in the IT, renewable energy, automotive, e-commerce and publishing industries.

Tobias is specialized in leading contract negotiations with counterparts all over the world. In this capacity he has worked most often in North America and in Europe, but also in Brazil, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Mauritius, the UAE, Saudi-Arabia, Malaysia and Australia.

If required, Tobias is assisting his clients in German courts of law. In conjunction with local counsel, he is also representing German clients in legal and arbitration proceedings abroad.

Tobias Tremml has master degrees from the University of Munich (JD, 1999) and Columbia University (MPA, 2001). He is a certified mediator (CVM, 2005). He taught decision models at Columbia and constitutional law in Munich and still pursues his academic interests.
