Tobias Tremml

Tobias Tremml is a partner at the Munich office.

Tobias has extensive experience in various general counsel roles at small and medium sized companies. Most recently, he worked as interim general counsel at a publicly listed, internationally operating e-commerce platform.

Previously, Tobias was general counsel and head of finance & HR at Desertec Industrial Initiative, an international joint venture of large multinational corporations with a mission to develop an industrial scale market for renewable energies produced in North Africa and the Middle East.

Tobias started his career with a global leader in the development and implementation of enterprise resource management software systems for the publishing industry. He went on to become that company’s general counsel and a member of its global management team.

At Wendler Tremml, Tobias draws on his wide range of experience in the IT, renewable energy, automotive, renewable energy, e-commerce and publishing industries to advise a select number of medium-size companies in long-term client relationships.

Tobias has led contract negotiations with counterparts across the world, particularly in North America and Europe.

When necessary, Tobias has represented his clients in German courts and international mediation proceedings. In conjunction with local counsel, he assists German clients in legal and arbitration proceedings abroad.

Tobias Tremml holds graduate degrees from Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich (JD, 1999) and Columbia University (MPA, 2001). He is a certified mediator (CVM, 2005). He taught constitutional law as a lecturer in Munich and decision models at Columbia and continues to pursue his academic interests.
